Log files / information transmitted by your browser
In the case of merely informational use of our website, i.e. if you do not place an order or use one of the services offered on our website (e.g. booking a newsletter), we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server.
For the use of Google Analytics, please see the separate information in section 9 below.
Every time you use the Internet, your Internet browser automatically transmits certain information that is stored by us in so-called log files. This is the following data, which is necessary to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security: IP address (Internet Protocol address), date and time of the request, content of the request (specific page), access status/HTTP status code, amount of data transferred in each case, website from which the request comes, browser, operating system and its interface, language and version of the browser software. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data.
We store this data for reasons of technical security, e.g. to defend against attacks on our web server. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a link to the individual website user. Storage or retention of the log files beyond the aforementioned period only takes place if further storage or retention is necessary for evidentiary purposes in the event of a security incident, e.g. in the event of an attempted attack on our website/server, and the log files are deleted after the relevant security incident has been clarified. The legal basis for the aforementioned processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) DSGVO (processing is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the controller).

If you do not confirm your subscription to the newsletter within seven days, your information provided in connection with the newsletter subscription will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. After your confirmation, we store your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis for the aforementioned processing for the purpose of sending the newsletter is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a) DSGVO (processing based on the consent of the data subject).
In addition, we store your respective IP addresses used and times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of the procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data. Use of service providers / transfer of your personal data to third parties

Payment service provider PayPal
In order to be able to offer you a large selection of different payment methods in our online store, we use PayPal as an external payment service provider. You can choose between payment methods that require a PayPal user account and payment methods that do not require a PayPal account.
require. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b) DSGVO (processing is necessary for the performance of a contract). With the exception of the payment method prepayment, you will be redirected directly to PayPal on an external website and enter your data directly at PayPal. We transmit only your name and address to PayPal, so that PayPal can carry out the payment.
We would like to point out that PayPal itself is the responsible party with regard to the data collected in the course of the payment and that PayPal's data protection regulations apply in addition. We ourselves do not receive any data from you from PayPal. If you select the payment method purchase on account, we point out that PayPal carries out a credit check with your consent due to the associated risk of non-payment and you are thereby exposed to an automated decision that has legal effect against you. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) DSGVO (processing is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of a third party).
If you do not want PayPal to perform a credit check on you, you must select another payment method that is not associated with a risk of non-payment (e.g. prepayment).
Deletion of data
Even without a specific request by our customers, we naturally comply with our obligations to delete personal data (e.g. in accordance with Art. 17 DSGVO) and therefore only store data for as long as it is necessary for the provision of the requested service or the respective purpose. after you have unsubscribed from the newsletter or revoked your consent.
Please note, however, that deletion will be replaced by blocking or restriction of processing insofar as deletion conflicts with legal retention obligations that we must fulfill. For example, according to the legal regulations in § 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB), we must retain invoices sent to you, order confirmations, order data and other contract-related communications with you (e.g. with regard to any warranty rights) for a period of up to ten years.
